Photography
Cloth is a dramatisation of life in the United States armed forces, focusing on four branches: the United States Army, the United States Marine Corps, the United States Navy and the United States Air Force. Cloth adopts the construction methods of Hollywood cinema using actors, props, and sets to construct meaning, framing these devices within the mode of the general practice photographer. In essence, Cloth is an essay on photography. It examines notions of lighting, composition, framing and mise-en-scène.
